About Me
Hey!
My name is Quadirria, I am a Black Queer counselor serving those throughout Florida. I provided counseling services to all people ages 14 and up. While I utilize an eclectic treatment modality informed by various theories, I aim to work cooperatively with clients to identify problem areas and appropriate solutions that best fit their lives and personalities.
My experience in life as a Black Female in the so-called US has ensured a personal understanding of my clientele. While I have not walked life in my client’s shoes, my relatability and recognition of various hardships and cultural sensitivities have allowed for a safer and deeper therapeutic connection and process.
I work hard to create a therapeutic space that aims to decolonize counseling and I push for affirming, equitable, and respectful care. It is a personal and professional mission of mine to make mental health care affordable and attainable to the vast diversity of people in the world.
At this time, I am seeing clients both through telehealth and in person. In this setting, I approach health from a holistic perspective, with an equal focus on multiple areas of life rather than mental health alone.
